Ask a child to describe an experiment and most write one tidy paragraph. But each mark sits on its own line in the school's answer key, so an answer that reads well can still score 1 out of 3. Question 1 goes furthest of all and is split into six half-marks: equal volume in each container, same location, start the stopwatch, stop it at the end of two hours, measure the water left, and say you used the measuring cylinder.
Every answer in this worksheet is set out the way the school marked it: one scoring point per line, with the word that carries the mark in capitals. Your child can see exactly which line they missed.
